The Stari Grad bay has more than 40 sand, gravel and rocky bays, some of them can be reached only by boat which gives you the opportunity to be captain at least for one day – you can sail into a hidden coves left just for you.

Beside hidden cove, Stari Grad offers you several beaches few hundred meters from the city centre: pebble beach called Banj on the north side of the Stari Grad Bay, suitable for small children and provided with access for persons with physical disabilities and on the south side of the bay, Lanterna beach. Lanterna has a small pebble beach and plateaus with the stairs to enter the sea. Near the beach are restaurants, showers, changing rooms.

Maslinica Bay, located 2 km outside the city, near the Stari Grad Port, is the only one sandy beach in the Stari Grad Bay and can be reached by car or boat. Near the beach is parking lot and reserved parking spaces for people with disabilities.

Other bays can be reached by car driving up the spine of the peninsula Kabal, by boat which can be rented at several rent a boat agency in the Stari Grad or Taxi boat that will take you to the some of bay such as Žukova, Brizenica, Zavala, Tiha bay, Digidaga and more.
